On October 2, 2025, Ahti Interiors’ Surabaya-based Sales Executive, Bahaduri Ahlul Puspoyo, attended the latest Archinesia Sharing Session #93, titled “Design Approach + Method.”
Held virtually via Zoom, the event gathered leading voices in Southeast Asian architecture — a thoughtful exchange exploring how design philosophy shapes meaningful spaces and human experiences.
The discussion was moderated by Calvian Oscar, featuring speakers from two renowned studios: StudioRK (Indonesia) and Anonym (Thailand). Both shared how design becomes a bridge between people, stories, and the environments they inhabit.
Design with Empathy — StudioRK’s Perspective
Represented by Ramadhona and Kusneri Prasetiani, StudioRK offered a heart-driven approach to design.
“Our process begins with people,” they shared. “We collaborate with our clients’ wishes and emotional stories to create chemistry between them and us.”
This perspective highlights design not as a mere aesthetic pursuit, but as an emotional dialogue — one that honors personal narratives and aspirations.
Design as Evolution — Insights from Anonym
From Thailand, Phongphat Uesangkhomset and Parnduangjai Roojnawate of Anonym spoke about how their design journey evolves through lived experiences.
“For us,” they said, “design approach is about how we build and grow through experience. Context and orientation always play a vital role in every dwelling we create.”
Their method reflects sensitivity to both place and process — allowing design to mature organically alongside those who live within it.
A Shared Understanding of Connection
As the session drew to a close, the speakers came together around a shared conclusion:
“Through the design approach, we honour connections — between human to human, human to nature, human to material. Each thread binding an architectural story of timeless worth.”
This idea resonates deeply with Ahti Interiors’ own philosophy — where design exists to enrich daily life, foster connection, and bring harmony to every space.
Participating in events like Archinesia allows our team to stay inspired, continuously learning from regional design leaders and exploring how thoughtful craftsmanship can shape meaningful environments.
Because in the end, meaningful design doesn’t just shape spaces — it shapes how we feel within them.
