The Dewan family has been in the bathroom industry since 1962. Three generations, working across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
From that heritage, Ahti was born.
We named our brand after Ahti — the ancient Finnish god of water. Of the depths. Of the sea. Of water as an elemental, living force. In Bali, where our identity is rooted, water carries the same reverence. Here it is tirta — holy. The sacred springs of Tirta Empul. The carved stone spouts of temples that have channelled water for centuries. Water is not a resource. It is a relationship.
Across every culture, in every part of the world, human beings have understood this. Water is where we begin and end each day. Where we return to ourselves.
This synergy — Finnish mythology, Balinese soul, European heritage — is what shapes The Ritual of Water. The belief that turning on a tap, stepping into a shower, washing your hands at a basin, is never routine. It is a moment of intention. Of return to oneself.
The bathroom is not a utility room. It is a sanctuary. The space where that ritual happens, every single day.
Ahti designs the tools that shape it. Our three collections — Baldr, Mani, and Forseti — are each a complete bathroom system. Every collection includes tapware, basins, showers, bathtubs and accessories, designed to work together across every surface and finish.
European quality. Balinese soul.
