13 August 2026, Pengembak Beach, Sanur comes alive as JIA CURATED 2026 opens its doors. Set against Bali’s coastline and framed by sand, trees, and the sea, this year’s edition explores Nature Weave — a reflection on the interconnected relationship between people, nature, craft, and design.
Within this setting, Ahti Interiors introduces a new chapter in its design journey with the world premiere of VIDAR, an exclusive collection created in collaboration with acclaimed architectural designer Alexis Dornier.
There is a natural rhythm to the experience.
Rather than standing apart from its surroundings, The Loom of VIDAR responds to them. A woven bamboo framework rises against the landscape, creating an architectural language that feels both contemporary and deeply rooted in its environment. The installation becomes a meeting point between structure and craft, where material, light, texture, and water come together to tell the story of VIDAR.
At the centre of the experience is the collection itself — a study in form, proportion, and materiality. Designed by Alexis Dornier, VIDAR translates architectural thinking into bathroom objects, bringing sculptural expression and considered functionality into the rituals of everyday life.
Each piece is designed to feel intentional: refined in silhouette, tactile in detail, and grounded in the relationship between architecture and the human experience.
The premiere at JIA CURATED marks the first opportunity to experience VIDAR in its entirety, within a spatial environment created specifically around the collection.
The installation also brings together a wider creative collaboration, with Maverick Lee Studio shaping the spatial expression of the pavilion and Utama Spice contributing to the sensory experience. Together, the collaborators create an environment where design extends beyond the object — into atmosphere, ritual, and place.
As visitors move through The Loom of VIDAR, the collection reveals itself gradually. Water, architecture, craftsmanship, and nature become part of one continuous experience, reflecting Ahti Interiors’ belief that the bathroom can be more than a functional space. It can be a place of pause, connection, and everyday ritual.
JIA CURATED 2026 brings together more than 150 local and international exhibitors and over 250 participating brands across architecture, product design, materials, art, landscape, and craft.
