On Thursday, September 25th, Ahti Interiors had the privilege of participating in the United Founders Quarterly Event, hosted at OXO The Factory in Bali. This intimate yet dynamic gathering brought together 60 industry leaders across design, development, and entrepreneurship to reflect on growth, collaboration, and the future of capital-intensive ventures in Indonesia and beyond.

From Townships to Skyscrapers: Ciputra’s Development Vision
The highlight of the evening was a keynote conversation with Artadinata Djangkar, Senior Director of Ciputra Group, titled “From Townships to Skyscrapers: Inside Ciputra Development’s Vision.”
Ciputra Group, as one of Indonesia’s most established development firms, has shaped the landscape of townships, commercial hubs, and high-rise projects across the country. Artadinata shared candid insights into what it takes to scale businesses of such magnitude: how to secure and sustain capital, manage growth across multiple markets, and balance the weight of legacy with the urgency of innovation.
For many in the room, his perspective underscored the importance of adaptability — the ability to lead with vision while responding to shifting cultural, economic, and environmental contexts.

A Gathering of Industry Leaders
The event was hosted by Johannes Weissenbaeck, CEO of OXO Group Indonesia, and Patrick Searle, Founder of United Founders, both of whom are deeply engaged in shaping Bali’s business and creative ecosystem. Their curation brought together a cross-section of leaders from real estate, hospitality, architecture, interiors, and investment, creating a rare platform for cross-industry dialogue.
Conversations flowed not only on stage, but also among participants. Industry leaders exchanged experiences on how to build resilient businesses in Bali and Indonesia, and how collaboration — across disciplines and sectors — will play a central role in driving sustainable growth.
Why This Matters for Ahti
For Ahti, taking part in such a forum is more than being present at an event. It is about connecting with the broader ecosystem of builders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries who influence how spaces are imagined, funded, and brought to life.
Just as Ciputra’s journey illustrates how legacy and innovation can coexist, Ahti’s mission is to design bathroom and interior solutions that are timeless yet progressive — products that balance elegance with durability, and sustainability with performance.
The lessons we draw from gatherings like United Founders remind us that our role is both specific and connected: while we specialize in bathrooms, our work ultimately contributes to the larger narrative of architecture, development, and cultural experience in Indonesia.

Looking Forward
The United Founders Quarterly Event left us inspired, not only by the insights of Artadinata Djangkar but also by the energy of the leaders present. It reinforced the value of collaboration, dialogue, and shared learning — qualities that are at the heart of enduring design and business.
As Ahti continues to grow, we carry these lessons with us: to remain intentional, to innovate with purpose, and to always see our work in relation to the larger structures — physical, cultural, and economic — that shape how people live.
